AI Disclosure
Last updated: August 11, 2026
Our commitment
Starks Technology Services helps organizations adopt AI responsibly. We hold ourselves to the same standard we advise our clients to meet: if artificial intelligence is involved in something we put in front of you, we tell you where, how, and what it means for your information. This page is that disclosure for this website.
Our use of AI is aligned with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, the same framework our AI governance practice is built on.
Where AI is used on this site
Security Readiness Assessment: when you complete our readiness assessment, your answers are scored by fixed, deterministic rules written by our team, not by AI. If you unlock the full report, your assessment responses and organizational context (such as industry and organization size) are sent to a large language model, Claude by Anthropic, to generate the narrative analysis, industry insights, and prioritized recommendations in your report. AI-generated sections appear alongside the rule-based scores.
AI Policy Generator: the acceptable-use policy documents produced by this tool are assembled from professionally written templates based on the selections you make. The generator itself does not send your inputs to an AI model.
Security Labs: our prompt-injection sandbox and AI Threat Spotter are educational simulations. They demonstrate AI-era attack techniques in a safe, self-contained environment and include examples of AI-generated phishing content, clearly presented as such for training purposes.
Automated communications: confirmation emails and internal routing triggered by our forms are rule-based automations, not AI. A human reads and responds to every inquiry.
Website content: some content on this site was drafted or refined with AI assistance. All published content is reviewed, edited, and approved by our team before it goes live.
How your data is handled
When AI analysis runs on your assessment, we send only what the analysis needs: your answers, scores, and organizational context. We do not send your name, email address, or phone number to the AI model.
AI processing for the assessment is performed through Anthropic's commercial API. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models.
Contact information you provide through our forms is stored in our customer relationship management system and handled by our team. It is used to respond to you, not to train AI systems.
Human oversight
AI output on this site is advisory, never autonomous. Assessment analysis is generated for your review and is validated against a fixed set of our real services before display. No AI system on this site makes decisions about you, sends communications on its own initiative, or takes action without human-defined rules.
Every business decision, every client engagement, and every recommendation we stand behind professionally comes from our team.
Limitations you should know
AI-generated analysis can be incomplete or imperfect. The readiness report is an educational starting point based on your self-reported answers; it is not a security audit, a compliance certification, a penetration test, or professional advice tailored to your environment. Before acting on any recommendation, validate it against your actual environment, ideally with a qualified security professional (we know a few).
